My new healthy habits for a better life!

Today's article is about self-care, health, and beauty. I am going to share with you my new habits, what I've been doing since January and what helps me to live a better life! BIG DISCLAIMER!! I am not a nutritionist or a professional health specialist or doctor, I am just sharing what works for me and my body!
I know, it may sound easy but it isn't! I am never thirsty so it always has been difficult for me to drink at least 1 litter of water per day. But, I did find some tricks!
First, when I wake up, I always drink a big glass of water with lemon. Drinking lemon water on an empty stomach has a lot of benefits has: boosts energy and metabolism, detoxifies your body from toxins, it's full in Vitamin C and also aids for digestion.
Then, my second trick is to buy a bottle with motivation quotes on it. I found this one on Amazon and honestly it keeps me motivated to drink all day!

To be honest with you, I never liked exercising! I always hated sports. But, in January, I finally found some motivation and started working on my body.
So here is what I do: I work out 5 days a week (every day except Sunday), generally in the evening around 6 pm. I don't know why but I don't feel good when I workout in the morning. I don't go to the gym, I exercise at home. First, because memberships are expensive and also because I don't want to go alone.
My routine is easy, I do one session of cardio for 20 minutes and right after, I do one session of weight training for 20- 25 minutes. I am following the TSE app (I am sorry it's a French app but for Americans, I have this program which is very great too: https://dailyburn.com)
I am really proud of myself to have finally decided to work out because I am feeling very great physically and emotionally.
I am suffering from intestinal problems since I am a child, I don't go to the restroom very often and my stomach is always bloated. So, I decided to search for good, organic and healthy supplements to take and I found HUM Nutrition.

Intermittent fasting (IF) is currently one of the world's most popular health and fitness trends. People are using it to lose weight, improve their health and simplify their lifestyles.
What is intermittent fasting (IF)?
IF is an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating.
It doesn’t specify which foods you should eat but rather when you should eat them.
In this respect, it’s not a diet in the conventional sense but more accurately described as an eating pattern. Common intermittent fasting methods involve daily 16-hour fasts or fasting for 24 hours, twice per week. Fasting has been a practice throughout human evolution. Ancient hunter-gatherers didn't have supermarkets, refrigerators or food available year-round. Sometimes they couldn't find anything to eat. As a result, humans evolved to be able to function without food for extended periods of time. In fact, fasting from time to time is more natural than always eating 3–4 (or more) meals per day. Fasting is also often done for religious or spiritual reasons, including in Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and Buddhism.
So, I am doing IF for a few weeks now and I feel really good. I don't feel bloated anymore, I am not tired and I am losing my extra weight so that's awesome!
I also started to eat less meat and more veggies, healthy fats like avocado or nuts. I try to eat more fruits to get more vitamins. And the most important is to get plenty of sleep. There's a reason when it's called "Beauty Sleep"!
