7 days in Florida: girl's trip!
Mis à jour : janv. 9
As some of you have seen of my Instagram, this summer I traveled with my best friend in Florida. We stayed for 2 weeks in Miami and the third one traveling. Here are what we did!
Day 1: West Palm Beach.
We left my house in the morning direction West Palm Beach. After 1h15 on the road, we finally arrived and we stop by a cute restaurant and went to the beach! As one of the three largest cities in the South Florida region, West Palm Beach is a vibrant, waterfront city that offers a relaxing environment for living and working.
Day 2 and 3: Orlando.
We spent 2 days in Orlando because we did 2 parks: Universal studio and Epcot.
Both parks are amazing but I have to admit that I prefer Epcot! Universal studio is amazing, especially if you are a big fan of Harry Potter, but all the attractions are very short, the fast past is extremely expensive, and the food is quite horrible. At Epcot, attractions are longer and the part with all those countries is incredible. I totally recommend to eat in Japan or Mexico, it was delicious! And you also have the possibility to take 3 fast past per day for free. Don't forget to put your best sneakers because you will walk a lot, we did 15 km per day.

Day 4: Rainbow Springs.
Rainbow Springs is a State Park located at 2h in the north of Orlando. This natural park is an amazing place to stay all day. Admission fees are only 2$ per person and there are: a small store, a cafeteria, and many tables to eat your lunch. The gorgeous blue water is magical to see and to swim in but I'm warning you, it's very cold! Besides that, there is also a small walk and hike where you can see some tiny adorable waterfalls, and on the other side of the park, there is rental equipment as canoes, kayak, and paddleboard. Rainbow Springs is a stunning example of Florida's unique landscape and a gateway to an underground world.

Day 5: Tampa.
Tampa is a really nice city! We only had 1 day in Tampa so we wanted to do some easy and free stuff and not going in a museum for 3h, but everybody is free to do what they want!
We went to Hyde park: it's a cute modern district loved for all its trendy restaurants and shops. We walked into Ybor City: this famous historical district is full of vintage shops, cuban restaurant and cigars factories. In the south of Tampa, we went to Wat Mongkolrata Temple, which is a Thai temple, it's wonderful. And if you go there on Sunday morning, there is a fresh market with Thai food. Finally, for the dinner, we walked on the Tampa Riverwalk and did some awesome sunset pictures.
Day 6: Saint Pete Beach.
St Pete Beach is an hour from Tampa. This beach is absolutely stunning and relaxing. The perfect white sand and the clear blue water will make you spend a wonderful day! Don't forget to take with you your beach necessary and to protect your skin, Floridian sun is dangerous! There is nothing else to say about this amazing beach, grab a book, listen to music and relax!
Day 7: Sarasota and Naples.
On our way home, we stopped by Sarasota to eat, and honestly this city is really cute. We didn't know that but in Sarasota there is an Amish community and they do have some restaurants where you can eat. Apparently Yoder's restaurant has the best blueberry pies! After that we went to Naples. I love this town so much! It's so cute, all the houses are gorgeous and the beach is spectacular. Sometimes you can see some dolphins! And if you love Italian food you should go to Tulia on the 5th Ave.
I hope you enjoyed this and if you were wondering where we stayed at, it was for every city an Airbnb. Have a wonderful day my loves!
